Demonstrating compliance with the NAVIS Computational Valuation Standard
NAVIS certification indicates that an AI-assisted valuation platform has been reviewed by NAVIS and found to be compliant with the NAVIS Computational Valuation Standard (NAVIS CVS). Certified platforms are authorized to display the NAVIS certification mark on their reports and marketing materials, and are listed in the NAVIS Certified Platform Registry.
Certification is a rigorous process that evaluates a platform's methodology, independent model validation capabilities, audit chain integrity, schema validation, and report formatting. It is not a product endorsement — it is a compliance determination.
Submit a certification application including technical documentation describing your platform's architecture, methodology selection process, validation framework, and audit chain implementation. Include three sample valuation reports produced by your platform.
The NAVIS technical team conducts a thorough review of your platform's methodology, independent model validation process, audit chain integrity, and report output. This review includes evaluation of sample reports against all NAVIS CVS requirements.
Upon successful review, execute the NAVIS Platform Certification Agreement. This agreement establishes the terms of certification, including mark usage rights, compliance obligations, annual renewal requirements, and the conditions under which certification may be suspended or revoked.
Receive your NAVIS certification number, certification mark usage guidelines, and listing in the NAVIS Certified Platform Registry. Your platform is now authorized to represent its reports as compliant with the NAVIS CVS.
Platform certification requirements are defined in Section 7 of the NAVIS Computational Valuation Standard. Key requirements include demonstrated compliance with all NAVIS CVS sections, a functioning independent model validation system, a complete and immutable audit chain, schema-validated report output, and appropriate disclosures.
NAVIS certification requires annual renewal. Certified platforms must submit an annual compliance attestation confirming continued adherence to all NAVIS CVS requirements. NAVIS reserves the right to conduct verification reviews as part of the renewal process.
